First, a markup is applied to the frame - the places for the lock, bolts and fasteners are marked. For drilling, it is important to choose the correct drill bits so that the holes are not too large. Then you can start drilling holes.

When the holes are ready, proceed to install the lock. It should be well fixed. We insert the core, fix it on the self-tapping screws, then the square. After the square is installed, the handles are installed. Padded handles are bolted together. It often happens that the square and tie bolts in length do not fit the profile pipe, since the lock is designed to be installed in a door whose thickness exceeds the thickness of the pipe from which the gate is made. Here you will need a grinder to give the required size to the tie bolts and the square.

On the second wing of the wicket, a striker is installed to fix the lock; it is also necessary to make markings on it first. When you install the striker, you need to check the operation of the lock. If it is difficult to turn the lock, lubricate it with oil.

  • Using the diagram you made, dig holes in the ground for the supports. Their depth should be equal to 1/3 of the length of the fence, in which the structural part is a wicket.
  • Immerse the support pipe in the hole and adjust its position with the construction level.
  • Secure it with wooden supports.
  • Fill the posts with the solution.
  • Wait until the solution is completely set. It's about seven days.
  • While you are waiting, so as not to waste time, you can prepare the frame. To do this, cut four components from the pipe: two are 5 millimeters higher than the profile sheet, and two more are 80 millimeters wider than the sheet.
  • A frame must be assembled from these elements. Find a flat surface, lay three wooden beams horizontally on it and lay a rectangular frame made of blanks on them.
  • Weld the corners where structural elements are connected. The frame elements must be welded to each other at an angle of 90 degrees.

  • After the welding is finished, it is necessary to clean the seams with a grinder.
  • Attach a crossbar in the center of the "skeleton" to reinforce the structure and facilitate the installation of the metal profile.
  • Treat the "skeleton" with a special agent that protects it from corrosion.
  • If you have corners as blanks, then cut them off at the ends at an angle of 45 degrees according to the internal measured "skeleton". Put the resulting elements on the frame and grab them to the frame in the corners.
  • The hinges are welded with a continuous seam.

  • Paint the structure and the frame is ready.
  • Now it's time to mount the metal profile. Cut out the elements you need in sizes. Lay it out on the frame and fix it with self-tapping screws.
  • The wicket is ready and can be installed on the support posts. Pre-weld the canopies to the posts and paint them with bituminous varnish, and treat them with solid oil inside.
  • Hang the finished gate, weld the bolt and lock to it.

Only now the pipes are not fixed to each other by welding, but with the help of fastening bolts, the cross-section of which is equal to eight millimeters. The 90 degree angle must be strictly observed. Cross pipes are also installed in the same way.
    2. Metal profile sheets are fixed with self-tapping screws.
    3. Then, depending on where the gate opens, hinge hinges are attached. It is better to attach them at the stage of collecting the "skeleton".
