Characteristics and description of the potato variety breeze


Breeze potatoes were bred by breeders B.S.Tolkachev, I.I.Kolyadko and co-authors in Belarus. The variety was entered in the state register of breeding achievements of Belarus in 2005, and in 2009 - in the state register of the Russian Federation. It is advised to plant it in the Northwest region.

General information

Description of the Breeze variety

Bushes are medium in height, semi-erect. The leaves are dark green, wide, their edges are slightly wavy. The stems are somewhat thinner than the Sante standard. The flowers are reddish purple.

The tubers are large, oval in shape, weighing 97-154 grams, according to the description.

The peel is yellowish, smooth. The tuber has a large number of eyes with medium depth. Pulp yellowish, it does not change color when cooked.

Characteristic

They are harvested from a hectare of plantings up to 451 centners of tubers... This is 31 quintals higher than the yield harvested when planting the Sante potato standard, according to the characteristics. In potatoes, the average starch content is 12-16%, dry matter - 20.1%, reducing sugars - 0.21%.

Soil preparation:
