Beautiful ornamental plants change the face of the city

An oasis in the stone jungle - how beautiful ornamental plants change the face of the city

They say: it is not a place that paints a person, but a person a place. Indeed, you can simply do your job responsibly, or you can approach it creatively, creating comfort and beauty in your workplace.

There are many different cafes in our city now, and in spring they grow like mushrooms. To attract the attention of visitors, the employees of these establishments try to beautifully decorate the signboard, the interior and the entrance to the cafe. Alas, there are very few lawns and trees in the center of the city due to dense buildings - only stone jungle. Therefore, the appearance of any green area is perceived here as an oasis in the desert.

But there is a cafe in our city where it is believed that the theater begins not with a coat rack, but with the front door. Walking to and from work along the noisy Gorokhovaya street, where bustle reigns, buildings are piled up with a dense wall, an endless stream of cars and people rushing about on business flows, I always hold back my step at the same place - near the Zoom cafe, the front entrance of which stands out as a bright spot among this stone jungle.

The space in front of the entrance to the cafe is not very large, but here you can always see colorful compositions made up of flowers and ornamental plants, replacing each other during the season, from early spring to late autumn. And even in winter, the interior at the entrance is decorated with winter New Year's compositions from coniferous bushes.

There are long boxes along the windows of the cafe, in which the compositions are constantly changing. Above the windows, on the ledges between the first and second floors, flower boxes are also fixed, between which potted plants and small original lanterns flaunt. The entrance to the cafe is decorated with ampelous plants (multi-colored petunias, lobelia, geraniums, ivy) in beautiful pots. Each step is decorated with beautiful ceramic pots with flowering garden plants - tuberous begonias, carnations, lobelias, vervains, as well as decorative indoor plants with bright leaves - coleus.

Plants are not just randomly planted in flower boxes, but beautiful compositions are created from them, which are constantly updated. For example, in the spring, primroses, hyacinths, tulips, daffodils, daisies, incense and saxifrage are pleasing to the eye of passers-by. Ampelous crops act as constantly growing green plants: ivy, maiden grapes, bacopa. Of the tall green tapeworms, special attention is attracted by kohija, which stands out in the spring-summer period as a light green color, and becomes burgundy-red with the arrival of autumn.

The plants blooming in spring are being replaced by annuals: Chinese carnation, viola, marigolds, ageratum, petunias, cellosia pinnate, purslane, annual phlox, salvia, levkoi, marsh chrysanthemum, gazania. In autumn, faded plants are replaced by chrysanthemums, perennial asters, and colorful ornamental cabbage. Potted plants are also changing. First, cyclamens burn with a bright flame, later barberry with golden leaves, erika and even small oaks appear.

In the late autumn period, small conifers appear in the boxes: thuja, common and creeping junipers, heather and erica, on which New Year's garlands are attached. Small lanterns are added to the boxes. Such compositions look very beautiful in the dark, especially when conifers are covered with snow. Of course, by the spring, these plants die due to freezing of the soil in the boxes, but, as they say, beauty requires sacrifice. And the entrance to the cafe really looks very nice.

Of course, the creation of such picturesque compositions requires time and large material costs, but the employees of this cafe do not skimp on them. For several years now, passing by this cafe, I never cease to be amazed at the imaginations of girls who, as artists, create paintings from different plants. Skillful and caring hands and excellent taste of Anna Tsvetkova and Maria Revzina. They are the ones who start every morning with caring for the flower garden: water the plants, remove faded flowers, loosen the soil in the boxes or renew the plantings.

This urban oasis attracts the glances of passers-by, who, I noticed, are trying to cross to this side of the street in order to then walk past a beautiful flowering corner near the cafe. Many even stop here to take pictures. So I always, going to work, also pass by this beauty, which charges with positive energy in the morning for the whole working day, because there are few places in the city center that you can find such green and flowering corners. There are other small cafes nearby, whose workers are trying to somehow match the landscape leader: boxes with flowers have already begun to appear on their windowsills.

And I, and many other townspeople, and guests of our big city are grateful to the hardworking girls from the cafe on Gorokhovaya for creating a small piece of beauty on a noisy street. And if their initiative was supported by employees not only of cafes, but also of shops, ateliers and other numerous enterprises in other districts of St. Petersburg, the beloved city would be prettier!

Parasitic plants. Part 1

Parasites. Among our plants there are those living at the expense of their fellows. They are called parasites. Their appearance is unusual: they have no green color, no real leaves and roots. This is a rare example of flowering plants lacking chlorophyll and unable to photosynthesize.

There are several types of parasitic plants in our flora. Their structure differs from ordinary plants. Flower parasites do not have leaves and chlorophyll, and suckers replace the roots. With the help of them, they draw out the juices of other plants, "rob" their owner. Some are the wicked weeds of the fields. Rare species include diphelipea, supra-chin. Their habitat is reduced to the host plant on which it parasitizes. So, the liana-like dodder braids the plants, strongly oppressing them. There are tree parasites.

mistletoe parasitizes apple, pear, linden, poplar, alder, and other trees, razumovskaya - on juniper, broomrape - mainly on the roots of herbs, sunflower and clover are often affected.

Flower parasites are divided into stem (mistletoe) and root (broomrape). The degree and form of plant parasitism are different - from innocent eyebrushes to deadly dodders, which live entirely at the expense of their owners. Some of the semi-parasites are difficult to suspect of parasitism - their predation goes underground, where they draw food from the roots of their neighbors.

In the branches of some trees, especially apple and pear trees, round weaves of branches are visible, like the nests of birds. These are white mistletoe bushes. It is especially effective in winter against the background of bare dark branches. Its evergreen spherical bushes are covered with leathery leaves even in winter. The green of the leaves is interspersed with firmly sitting white berries with a pearly sheen. In winter, birds, especially blackbirds, readily eat them.

Mistletoe is familiar to everyone. Grows as a partial parasite on the branches of many deciduous trees. Occasionally found on pine. She is distinguished by races: living on deciduous and conifers. There are many myths associated with it. The custom of decorating a home with mistletoe dates back to pagan times. Lives up to 40 years. Through the bark, its thin threads penetrate into the tissues of the host plant, often causing the death of the tree. At the site of its attachment, the branches swell. Above, they dry out. On some trees there is so much mistletoe that in winter the tree affected by it looks like a grand mistletoe. This parasite occupies large areas in old gardens. It is especially abundant in the foothills. Once settled on the branches of trees, mistletoe completely detached from the soil. Sometimes you can see gardens where almost every tree is decorated with a few mistletoe "hair".

How a complete parasite lives on an ordinary juniperforming balls on it. It has very small flowers.

Beautiful marianik like a tick digs into the roots of a clover and sucks the juices out of it. This is a real thief. Similar food at the expense of others in rattles, eyebrushes, norichnikov, mytniki. They live on the roots of grasses. And only Peter's cross settles on the roots of trees. Gudayera creeping alien plant growing in pine forests. A tiny aquatic gentian (abode of mountain meadows), three-incised rooks, and some wintergreens lead a parasitic life.

Of the parasitic orchids, it is worth noting the rare leafless cap. Grows in forests. Leads underground life. It is usually found during flowering, when 1-5 flowers are carried on a thick peduncle. After flowering, you will not see it for several years.

Plants like marianic or mistletoe are called semi-parasites because they have green leaves that provide nutrients. But there are real parasites among the plants. They have no chlorophyll or leaves. They live only at the expense of the host plant.

How to create a beautiful garden with your own hands

So, you are a happy owner of a summer cottage. Moreover, its size allows you to set up a beautiful garden - such as you have seen more than once in numerous booklets offering landscape design ideas. Of course, for the correct layout of the garden, it is better to invite a specialist. But what if the budget is tight? Use the recommendations on how to create a beautiful garden with your own hands without spending extra money.

Perennials with bright fruits in the autumn garden

Perennial plants in spring and summer give the garden scent and colors. But when this rainbow is replaced by the traditional autumn palette, the finest hour of perennials with beautiful fruits comes. The fruits - the decoration of the pre-winter garden - give it completeness and individuality.

Choosing the right accessories is not easy. They can subtly complement or hopelessly ruin any outfit. But this is from the realm of fashion, and everything is easier in the garden. Here nature works with us, and she has an impeccable taste. The gardener will require observation and some knowledge. Let's take a close look at perennials with bright fruits and their beads, buttons, fringes and pendants that adorn autumn flower beds.

Photo-gallery of plants with bright fruits.

Perennials with bright fruits for light shade

Beads-berries shine in the light shade of trees and large bushes Vorontsov(Actaea) - lacquer red at Voronets red (Actaea rubra) and red-fruited(Actaea erythrocarpa), black at pointed(Actaea acuminata) and spike (Actaea spicata). Vorontsy white(Actaea alba) and thick-stemmed(Actaea pachypoda) are decorated with milky white "porcelain" fruits. Mature plants in good conditions (nutritious soil, timely watering) give an impressive "harvest" - several dozen clusters on a bush, and in each cluster - at least two dozen berries. Vorontsov are durable and unpretentious, develop rather quickly, forming beautiful openwork curtains. The fruits ripen in August and decorate the bushes for a long time.

In the photo: Black-footed raven (Actaea pachypoda), Red raven (Actaea rubra), White raven (Actaea Alba), Spiked raven (Actaea spicata), Red-fruited raven (Actaea erythrocarpa)

Unlike Vorontsov fruits arizm(Arisaema) are collected in a dense cob. In winter-hardy arizema three-leafed (Arisaema triphyllum) and Amur(Arisaema amurense) berries turn red gradually, not all at once. But even green or just starting to blush, shiny fruits attract attention. The size of the cob depends on the age of the plant and the conditions, but both the berries and the cob itself are larger in three-leaved arizema.

In the photo: Arisaema amurense, Arisaema serratum, Japanese Arisaema serratum, Arisaema engleri, Arisaema triphyllum, Arisaema ringens

Dysporum smilacin (Disporum smilacina) Is a typical background perennial for shady gardens. But this is in the summer. In autumn, he turns from an extra into a full-fledged soloist - so expressive is the contrast of straw-yellow leaves and black berries. Large bead fruits shine like varnished ones.

In the photo: Disporum trachycarpum

Rare in gardens, but fairly stable in culture finger glaucidium (Glaucidium palmatum) is noticeable at any time of the gardening season: attractive in flowering, it has an expressive and spectacular leaf shape. And in fruits - jade-green "buttons" tightly sitting on a leaf - glaucidium retains its exquisite exotic appearance.

Another unusual view - symplocarpus smelly (Symplocarpus foetidus). Both spring flowering and its fruits cannot be called beautiful in the conventional sense. But a rare visitor to the garden will not be surprised at the whims of nature when he discovers a "mace" lying on the ground under the leaves, even in appearance.

In the photo: Symplocarpus smelly (Symplocarpus foetidus)

From the middle of August, they are decorated with bright pendant fruits podophylls(Podophyllum). The largest fruits in podophylla Emody (Podophyllum emodii) - orange-red, at the beginning of ripening with a slight "frost". Berries podophyllum thyroid (Podophyllum peltatum) are smaller, but more numerous: this species grows much more actively. A good solution would be to plant podophylls on a slope or on a low retaining wall so that their fruits appear in all their glory.

Do not rush to prune inflorescences Rogers feathery (Rodgersia pinnata). The plant is no less decorative during the period of seed ripening, when large branched brushes on strong peduncles rise above the spectacular dark green leaves. White-pink in bloom, they change color to grayish-beige.

In the photo: Rodgersia aesculofolia

And finally, the giant of shady and semi-shady gardens - Volzhanka vulgaris (Aruncus vulgaris). Faded bushes of some forms are especially spectacular in autumn, when their tall stems are slightly bent under the weight of the olive-green "fringe" - this is how the panicles of inflorescences look at this time. In well-developed specimens, the length of the panicles is about 40 cm, the "fringes" are at least 15 cm, and the bush has several dozen faded stems.

In the photo: Volzhanka dioecious (Aruncus dioicus)

Perennials with bright fruits for illuminated areas

More illuminated places - forest edges, meadows in the garden, natural-style flower beds are decorated no less impressively. Velvet large "buttons" instead of bright yellow flowers teleki beautiful (Telekia speciosa) appear gradually. On one bush, the last flowers can bloom and brown seedlings can flaunt. Telekia actively sows itself and conquers space. If you have a small, natural style garden, we advise you to remove its inflorescences after flowering.

In the photo: Telekia speciosa

It behaves the same way American Lakonos (Phytolacca americana). In this large perennial, the fruits ripen in September, turning almost black over time. The length of the erect inflorescence-"candle" is 20-25 cm; shorter ones are added to them - on the lateral shoots.

Buttons and beads are still jewelry, but will there be real jewelry in our autumn box? Undoubtedly, these include the fruits of species peonies: obovate (Paeonia obovata), Caucasian(Paeonia kavachensis), Wittmann(Paeonia wittmaniana). The leaflets (usually 2–3) open up to reveal a satin burgundy lining on which blue-black and coral-red "berries" lie like precious stones in a jewelry store window.

In the photo: Tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa)

Dry long autumn gives us the opportunity to admire and transform Buzulnikov(Ligularia), especially species with a spike-shaped inflorescence - Vicha(Ligularia veitchiana), Przhevalsky (Ligularia przewalskii) and others. During the period of seed ripening, the ear of the inflorescence, bright yellow in summer, becomes silvery.

Balls of faded onions (Allium) are a classic addition to dry winter bouquets. But even in the garden, their round openwork heads successfully arrange any autumn flower garden. Tall bows - aflatunian(Allium aflatunense), stalked(Allium stipitatum) and their varieties have strong peduncles and large inflorescences, which, during seed ripening, acquire a straw-yellow color and are clearly visible in flower beds.

In the photo: Branched onion, or Sweet onion (Állium ramosum)

Autumn decorations can also be found among the inhabitants of open or rocky areas of the garden - rockeries. Since the middle of summer, fluffy silver balls draw attention to different types of bushes. lumbago (Pulsatilla).

In the photo: Alpine backache (Pulsatilla alpina)

Fruitfulness dryad eight-petalled (Dryas octopetala) are even more fluffy and airy, but stay on the stems for a much shorter period.

In the photo: Dryas octopetala

On the contrary, Acena New Zealand (Acaena novaezelandiae) and small-leaved(Acaena microphylla) retain spiky bronze heads until the snow, into which inflorescences turn by autumn. Their diameter is about 1 cm, the length of the bristle spines is also 1 cm - all together it looks like a miniature model of a spacecraft. In combination with gray-green small foliage, the fruits greatly decorate the acena rugs.

Houseplants next to us.

Through the pages of Tatyana Pevnoy's book “Houseplants: Energy Protectors or Vampires.

The information is interesting, but not unambiguous. But for lovers of indoor plants, it is entertaining. Easy reading.

Every day in the hustle and bustle of everyday worries, people catch a glimpse of various plants on the streets, in shops, in offices, but only see. Modern man often selfishly underestimates the importance of plants, he habitually perceives them only as decoration of the earth, medicine or raw material for many industries. The wonderful, transforming energy of harmony in which plants live, in the flickering of life, can remain unnoticed, not felt by a person. No matter how much nature is praised, it will remain incomprehensible to us if we do not interact with it.

Plants are one of the most "sociable" living organisms on Earth, they communicate with each other, as well as with the animal world, of which man is a part. Already in ancient times, people subtly felt their relationship with nature, studied its laws, generalized their knowledge in this area and turned to her for help. Plants bring a person closer to understanding the laws of nature. Plant horoscopes, treatises on plant magic, compiled by priests, astrologers and healers, which have survived from ancient times, serve as evidence of this. Feng Shui, the Indian vastu technique are guided by this, and Russian folk signs remind of this.

Over the past 100 years, many experiments have been carried out and works have been published that have scientifically confirmed new ideas about the Earth's field and the biofield of living beings. Various explanations of the nature of terrestrial radiation have not yet been combined into a general theory, but it is already possible to determine its consequences and find protection.

In 1949, biophysicists discovered that plants, like any living organisms, are surrounded by a special electromagnetic field that interacts with the surrounding radiation and affects the mental and physical state of people nearby. True, back in the seventies of the last century, bioenergy was considered a pseudoscience and almost a manifestation of modern paganism. The ability of all living things to emit energy in the ultraviolet region of the spectrum, discovered by Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences V.P. Kaznacheev, was confirmed by many years of experience and research by scientists from the Chernozem Institute for Monitoring Lands and Ecosystems. The presence of a biofield in plants, including indoor plants, has been proven. Under the conditions of an ordinary apartment, it was confirmed that among the plants, as well as among people, there are "vampires", neutrals and "donors".

1. Indoor plants and home ecology

You should not perceive houseplants only as a tiny piece of nature, generously giving us, locked in concrete walls, living primordial energy that harmonizes the world around us. It is believed that they can help solve many of our problems.

Modern houses made of reinforced concrete panels are far from the best human invention, the air humidity in such living quarters is much lower than normal, almost like in the desert. In this sense, Cyperus is unique - a plant that can turn the desert into an oasis. In addition, the water-gas exchange in the room is improved if anthurium, arrowroot and monstera are present there. Chlorophytum, ivy, chrysanthemum and aloe also perfectly clean the air.

Plants change themselves, adapt - and adapt to themselves, as much as they can, changing and ennobling the situation in which they find themselves. It is known that many indoor plants are capable of producing and releasing phytoncides into the air - specific disinfecting substances. In a room where, for example, citrus fruits, rosemary, myrtle, chlorophytum are found, there are significantly fewer microbes in the air. And the particles of heavy metal salts that enter our apartments from the streets crowded with vehicles absorb asparagus.

Needless to say, how bad a person feels in a stuffy room. And the point here is not a lack of proper oxygen. Its negative ions are sorely lacking, the number of which, by the way, quickly decreases if a TV or computer is running in the room.

But, as it turned out, there are indoor plants that can make the air fresh and easy to breathe, releasing the same ions. These are coniferous bonsai, which are formed from cypress, thuja, cryptomeria.

It is desirable that the house has at least one geranium bush. This beautiful plant disinfects and deodorizes the air. The essential oils secreted by it, due to their bactericidal properties, prevent the development of lung diseases and improve metabolism. It has long been known that in case of a headache, a crushed geranium leaf should be put in the ear, and in case of otitis media, it is applied to the sore ear in the form of a compress.

And our distant ancestors believed that geraniums are capable of expelling evil spirits and other evil spirits from the house. But perhaps best of all, the rose supports and restores the human biofield, which is able to relieve fatigue and irritability accumulated during the day. The effect of the rose is especially effective if lemon balm, basil, mint or tarragon grow in the same room. In this case, the air in the room will be almost healing. That is why the rose, like other essential oil crops, is widely used in phyto- and aromatherapy.

When purchasing and bringing indoor plants to your home, in no case should you forget that they become a very active part of the general bioenergy, are sensitive to changes in information flows, and are able to either soften or make negative impacts more severe. It is hardly accidental that some plants improve people's mood, restore their strength, relieve fatigue, while others, on the contrary, weaken, depress, cause a feeling of physical and mental discomfort. Only with some knowledge in the field of home floriculture, you can preserve and even strengthen your health to a certain extent.

2. Plants and astrology

There are plants that have amazing properties. Who would have thought that cyclamens radiate energy that can inspire new ideas and help overcome stereotypes of thinking, and the powerful energy of anthurium can influence even the most timid people in such a way that they become bolder? That hypea-strum is a reliable assistant in stress, and indoor ivy is able to neutralize toxins contained in the air? This beneficial effect appears to be related to their energy field.

People who are characterized by self-doubt, doubting their own righteousness, who want, but can not get out in the lead, you can try to get a sparkling and striped ehmeya, Indian and Japanese azalea, dwarf pomegranate, royal begonia, brilliant euphorbia - plants that correspond to the sign of Aries, symbolizing the personality of a person. It should be remembered: you should choose large tall plants, with a bright red, burgundy or orange color of leaves or flowers.

Ehmeya sparkling
This plant, with its dense, fiery purple-colored leaves underneath, cannot stand greed and boasting. It is able to neutralize and dispel such negative energy that excites the nervous system, disrupts sleep, and reduces performance. It is better not to keep the ehmeya in the bedroom, but rather its place in the office or on the desktop.

The long presence of echmea in the house causes an increase in the iron content in a person's blood, makes it easy to wake up, relieves drowsiness, helps maintain good physical tone and improves muscle condition.

Spurge brilliant
Armed with menacing thorns, he becomes a guardian of energy order, protecting the house and its inhabitants from the consequences of disharmony in relations with other people. He is able to help people who are intemperate and impetuous, those who are often in an unreasonable hurry. If there is euphorbia in the room, the body will quickly cope with a cold, since this plant has the ability to speed up many processes in the body, mainly the course of infectious diseases that have arisen in the upper respiratory tract. In addition, euphorbia prevents the appearance of sharp pains, muscle cramps, and has a strengthening effect on the skeletal system.

Indian and Japanese azalea
Azalea with its gorgeous flowers and shiny leaves maintains a cheerful atmosphere in the house. It awakens a person from sleep and is useful for those who find it difficult to wake up in the morning.

Dwarf pomegranate
The effect of a pomegranate on a person depends on the time of day: in the morning it invigorates, stimulates performance, improves mood, during the day it helps to concentrate attention and not be scattered about trifles, and in the evening it inspires a desire to summarize what was done during the day.

The presence of pomegranate in the house can accelerate the healing of small wounds, strengthen bones and muscles. Strikingly, pomegranate helps dissolve blood clots in blood vessels and prevents cardiovascular disease.

Royal begonia
Begonia is useful for people who are slow, difficult and for a long time to formulate their thoughts and make decisions. It can help reduce stuttering and overcome fear of communication. Begonias with red leaves are very useful for smokers and people with weak bronchi at home.

Strong, stunted and beautifully flowering Taurus plants can be recommended for all those who are tormented by money problems. These include violet, Kalanchoe, cyclamen. Not tall, but very strong, with powerful stems, they will not only fill the house with the energy of Taurus, but will attract both money and health to their owner.

Usambara violet
This group includes about a thousand varieties with flowers of amazingly varied shapes and colors and fleshy leaves with a velvety surface. Violets have a calming effect on the atmosphere of the house, making it cozy. Plants with white flowers are good for any home, but especially for those where there are children, as white symbolizes purity, beginning. White violet can save you from a nervous breakdown, reducing the stress on the nervous system. It can also help get rid of insects, especially ants. Violets with pink and red flowers instill a sense of satisfaction, reduce the need for food, and evoke a sense of joy from work or socializing.

Blue violets help people who are creative and have a subtle sense of beauty. They should be kept in music, art and general education schools, in kindergartens, in creative studios. Violets with purple flowers ennoble the energetic atmosphere in the house. They help to overcome mutual misunderstandings. All violets harmonize the condition of the throat and thyroid gland. They are able to reduce inflammation in the throat.

Kalanchoe Blosfeld
It is a flowering plant with fleshy leaves and white, yellow, orange, pink or red flowers. It usually blooms in April, but at home it can bloom almost all year round.

This plant is able to alleviate the difficult emotional state of an elderly person who is tired of life, or someone who is very acutely experiencing any, even the most insignificant, troubles. Its strengthening effect extends to the entire body, primarily the throat, as well as blood vessels, helping to dissolve blood clots in them.

Cyclamen Persian
It is a very delicate plant that needs moist air and abundant watering. Variegated leaves speak of its changeable and emotional nature, but bright, very beautiful flowers are evidence of joy and inspiration. Cyclamen tend to create energy of inspiration, improve mood. It affects the ability of the human body to adapt to any harmful environmental influences, and is also very useful for those who are allergic to cold or hard to tolerate low temperatures.

If there are problems in communication and learning, if there is a desire to expand the circle of friends and acquaintances, it is planned to enter a university or courses, if you often have to speak in front of an audience, you can strengthen your position with the help of Gemini plants. Choose asparagus, fern, tradescantia or palm. Also, all bindweed will do.

Asparagus pinnate
This plant with lush greenery, unpretentious and undemanding to air humidity, is able to alleviate a difficult emotional state, helps to forget about complexes and puts a person in a good mood.

Asparagus has another property - to alleviate the condition of a person with chronic diseases. In addition, the mere presence of asparagus in the home will preserve the bones of the body and improve the elasticity of the skin. This plant is also useful for those who suffer from various lung diseases.

Asparagus dense-flowered
This type of asparagus is able to cleanse the atmosphere from the energy of thoughts and words of people with a weak spirit. He kind of absorbs the emotional weakness of people. Sometimes unpleasant impressions linger in the soul for a long time. The subtle effect of dense-flowered asparagus helps to forget about troubles, switching a person to other everyday topics. This plant has a stronger effect than pinnate asparagus, it affects the speed of healing of all wounds and fractures.

Tradescantia
This is a whole group of plants with hanging stems, differing primarily in the color of the leaves, which is completely dependent on lighting. These beautiful variegated plants are very unpretentious. They tolerate both heat and cold well, grow well in darkened rooms, but still preserve the variegation of leaves in the light.

Tradescantia has one very interesting property: this flower is an indicator of the energetic well-being of the house.

Where there is bad energy, it begins to turn yellow and lose foliage. One of the tradescantia - purple netcreasia - in the shade, like virtually all plants from the tradescantia group, is solid, green, but sunlight makes its leaves really purple.

Those who love the light of Tradescantia purify the atmosphere in the house from the energy of thoughts, words and feelings of people who cannot stand joy, who feel bad from other people's successes and achievements, from the fact that someone is good.

Ferns
This is a very large group of plants that at home need moderate watering, which does not allow the soil to dry out or waterlogged, and a moderate temperature, not higher than 22 ° C and not lower than 10 ° C.

Any fern is always useful when a sense of proportion and the ability to balance your emotional state are lost. It is he who can reign in the house the spirit of composure, organization and order. The fern gives a more complete perception of life to both emotional, impressionable and rational people who perceive the world with their mind, it kind of contributes to the materialization of thought.By its mere presence in the house, this plant is able to normalize the functioning of the lungs, bronchi, trachea, shoulders, hands, fingers.

Cirrus palms
Palm trees - both date and coconut - are able to cleanse the space of the energy of pessimism and melancholy. Any palm tree keeps the energy in a vigorous state. If there are several such palms in the house, the feeling of cheerfulness can persist from early morning to late evening. The very atmosphere will energize people. Since the palm tree is meant to create a cheerful mood, it is best not to put palm trees in the bedroom. A living room or hall is considered a traditional place for it.

Palm trees protect against diseases of the lungs, bronchi and hands. If a person suffers from bronchitis, the palm tree will prevent bronchitis from becoming chronic, will prevent rheumatic growth of bone tissue of the joints, and will restrain the growth of fat deposits from the collarbones to the wrists.

Ivy
These are very strong plants, they are quite cold-resistant and can grow in winter in unheated rooms. Due to its strong, hardy, independent character, curly ivy relieves a difficult emotional state. It is good to have him by your side when it is hard on your soul, being in emotional dependence, when you need to overcome your complexes, quit smoking, drinking or starving. Ivy relieves any diseases associated with the lungs, bronchi, hand bones. It is useful to have ivy at home for those who suffer from intercostal neuralgia, have a heaviness in the chest, and have broken ribs.

Fuchsia, bush peperomia, aloe tree, agave, Mason's begonia are Cancer plants that can help strengthen family ties, establish contacts with loved ones, forget about quarrels and generally improve the psychological atmosphere in the house.

Fuchsia
This is a very beautiful plant that needs abundant watering. Deciduous, changeable fuchsia keeps the energy of the atmosphere at home in its natural mobile state. In her presence, the very atmosphere of the house inspires people with a cheerful, cheerful mood. It is good to have fuchsia if there are small children in the house. She will help parents find an approach to their child. It should also be given to those for whom earthly life has become uninteresting, and the people around them are boring. Fuchsia protects the digestive system, mammary glands, and gallbladder from chronic diseases.

Agave
This plant is a succulent with juicy, fleshy leaves filled with sweet juice (unlike bitter aloe, somewhat similar to agave), surprisingly soothes and pacifies the atmosphere of the house. Agave can calm a person who is in a state of rage, anger, experiencing sensual dissatisfaction, for example, from unrequited love. This plant helps a person not to become isolated on one thing.

Wet agave is beneficial for the nervous system, promotes rapid treatment of neuralgia. It also improves the metabolic process, promotes the removal of excess fluid from the body, and the rapid healing of skin irritation.

The mere presence of agave in the house normalizes the condition of the throat, digestive system, mammary glands, and gallbladder.

Peperomia
This plant came to homes from the humid tropics of South America. It forms compact bushes with variegated leaves. Peperomia keeps the atmosphere at home clean. Her presence creates a mood of benevolence that pleases and warms the soul. In variegated leaves, a series of light and dark stripes is pronounced, but light stripes are larger. This color speaks of the amazing property of the plant - it helps to get out of the black stripes of life.

The action of peperomia is primarily directed at the organs of the digestive system, mammary glands, and gallbladder. It also promotes healing of sutures, accelerates the healing of skin irritations.

Begonia Mason
This plant with juicy stems, faded flowers and leaves with a large-warty surface is very fond of water and requires high humidity.

Begonia Mason is useful where heightened emotionality, a tearful mood on a subtle, invisible plane increase the humidity of the air, which it prevents, preserving the harmony of the energy state of the atmosphere.

Because of the cruciform pattern on the leaves, begonia can be called a limiting plant.

And this limiter inhibits the development of any diseases associated with the digestive system and chest, as well as the mammary glands and gallbladder.

Leo is the astrological patron of lovers and creators.

Therefore, those who seek to create a masterpiece or find happiness in love should have balsam, bristly-haired akalifa, calla, Japanese pelargonium (geranium), camellia and hibiscus in the house, which bring good luck and allow you to achieve success.

Calla
This plant can serve as a talisman for the happiness of the inhabitants of the house. Its yellow flower is surrounded by a funnel-shaped white veil. Yellow is the color of inspiration, joy, creativity, and white is the color of purity. Thanks to the beautiful calla, the atmosphere in the house rings with joy, opposes the dull, pessimistic mood of people. Calla is able to increase a person's immunity in case of emotional exhaustion and stress, dejection and despondency. It is good to have it for those who feel vulnerable because of their feelings, are afraid that someone will laugh, offend him. The flower protects the human heart from such blows.

A flower is the main, but not the only thing that a calla has. This plant has beautiful, large, heart-shaped leaves.

It is believed that thanks to them, a person can become more cordial.

Calla does not so much help to heal the body as it protects it from the appearance of new diseases. And above all, calla protects the main organ from diseases - the heart.

Akalifa bristly-haired
It is an extremely finicky plant. He needs high humidity, abundant watering, and good lighting. The main charm of the plant is in long red inflorescences. Akalifa opposes pessimism and despondency, as if capturing and accumulating joy in himself, which then fills the atmosphere in the house. Its pubescent leaves also have a wonderful property to cleanse the atmosphere from the energy of laziness and excessive emotionality.

Emotionally, Akalifa helps people to combine two principles, masculine and feminine, and get closer to a harmonious state. The influence of this plant on each person is special, so it is difficult to concretize it. It is good for all those who do not have an ideal character.

Whatever maximalism manifests itself in a person, akalifa will smooth it out, lead to a golden mean. She is a warming plant. It is good to have it at home for those who are afraid of the cold, often freeze, who are allergic to the cold.

Akalifa has a very wide range of effects on the human body, harmonizing the work of all organs.

Camellia
Perhaps this is one of the most capricious plants: if you rearrange the camellia with buds to another place, it will not bloom, its buds will simply fall off without opening.

This plant is for those who in their work are highly dependent on external circumstances. Thanks to camellia, the energy in the house becomes cleaner, more transparent, which, of course, affects the mood of people.

This plant has one more property. Camellia does not grow well at high temperatures, it needs coolness. It helps you not to go to extremes, not to lose your head from love, succumbing to feelings, not to forget about duty and responsibility.

During illness, the cool-loving camellia is able to lower body temperature. She herself does not like changes of place and helps people who are forced to move often, it is easier to endure the change of climate, to quickly adapt to new conditions. But most of all, the gentle camellia benefits the heart, protecting it from many diseases.

Geranium (pelargonium)
This houseplant has a powerful energy.

In nature, there are more than 250 species of pelargonium, most of which have luxurious, very decorative white, red or pink flowers.

Scented geraniums are probably the most unprepossessing in this family, but they exude the scent of rose, lemon, mint, almond, lilac, or apples. Geranium has a powerful positive energy. To recuperate after a hard day, it is recommended to sit next to a geranium. But next to the bed or in a small bedroom, you should not put a german. If you inhale its essential oils for a long time, your head may hurt.

Pelargonium helps to relax the nerves in stressful situations, awakening a depressed, stressed part of the personality, which allows you to look at life in a new way.

From a medical point of view, geranium improves metabolism in the human body, prevents the appearance of neoplasms. It has a soothing effect, relieves headaches and eye strain.

Hibiscus (chinese rose)
It is an amazingly beautiful, regal plant with magnificent flowers. It likes very bright lighting. Hibiscus in the house is a silent engine that energizes the atmosphere around it with the energy of activity, which is very useful for sluggish, passive people.

This lovely plant neutralizes the energy of aggression and diktat that spills out into the atmosphere, prevents it from causing severe pain or a sudden deterioration in the well-being of others. Hibiscus can be an excellent helper for those who wish to develop willpower in themselves; plants with red flowers have such properties to the greatest extent. Yellow flowers contribute to the development of organizational skills in a person. A plant with white flowers is filled with the energy of impeccable purity, awakens the best qualities: indulgence, nobility, love, desire for creativity. Due to its fiery, strong character, hibiscus stimulates the work of the heart. It is good to have it at home for those who have a weak heart and low blood pressure.

These true Virgo plants, by the way, are very useful in the case when a person strives for intellectual development. And in general, in such a situation, any vines are useful, as well as plants that put down aerial roots.

Roicissus (birch)
It is a very common and extremely unpretentious houseplant that easily tolerates shade and bright sun, heat and cold, humid and dry air. Due to its unpretentious nature, the birch helps people who are overly principled for their own good to become softer and more compliant.

This plant is good to have for those who live in difficult living conditions. A birch tree develops in a person spiritual adaptation to any conditions of life. This climbing plant with a light character can teach everyone to relate more easily to the mercantile vanity and suggest that matter is secondary.

An unpretentious birch tree increases the endurance of the abdominal organs. It not so much fights bowel diseases as prevents them from occurring. In addition, the birch tree enhances the adaptive abilities of the body.

Monstera
This plant has become very popular among indoor jungle lovers. In good conditions, monstera can bear fruit, but the secret of its influence on the atmosphere lies not in the stems and fruits, but in the leaves, very large, as if dissected and resembling rib bones in appearance. It absorbs disordered energies, puts everything in its place and organizes thoughts, helps to more easily adapt to the prevailing conditions, which is very useful for stubborn people.

Monstera has a beneficial effect on the intestines and the abdominal cavity in general, increases the elasticity of the intestinal walls, prevents harmful products of its activity from entering the body and protects a person from poisoning.

Dracaena unbent
It is a beautiful moisture-loving plant with yellow stripes along the edges of long narrow leaves. Dracaena is good where pessimism reigns. It is difficult to change the psychology of a person who does not see the light at the end of the tunnel, but the spread of dark energy can be prevented. This is what the bent dracaena does.

The uniqueness of the influence of this plant on the emotional state of a person is that dracaena brings joy. It is ideal for those who do not know how to please themselves and others.

Dracaena helps to avoid complications after diseases of the intestines and abdominal organs, and also contributes to a favorable outcome of these diseases.

Libra plants are invaluable helpers for those who need to establish and develop partnerships, as well as for the formation of aesthetic taste. These include hydrangea, small-flowered chrysanthemum, truncated zygokak thue (Decembrist). Among the many beneficial properties inherent in these plants, two universal ones can be distinguished: influence on partnerships and help in the development of taste.

Hydrangea
This plant, decorated with a cap of large flowers, looks like a real robust man. Love for moisture and coolness speaks of an emotional, but light character, which gives hydrangeas the ability to rid the space around them of the energy of heavy emotions and feelings: envy, jealousy, contempt, and simply from the energy of a bad mood. The relieving effect of hydrangea will be beneficial for the atmosphere of almost every home, because no one is immune from a bad mood.

It balances the earthly practicality and airy daydreaming in a person, and therefore is very useful for those who do not have a practical vein, and for those who are unnecessarily down to earth. If there is this plant in the house, it will be easier to give up sweet and starchy foods, maintaining the beauty and youth of your body.

Chrysanthemum
The chrysanthemum, with its gorgeous bright flowers and pungent, bitter aroma, is one of the favorite indoor plants. It balances the energy in the home. Chrysanthemum is especially needed where people often hesitate in choosing between logic and intuition. It helps to overcome selfishness, teaches to listen to the opinions of partners. The main property of chrysanthemum is the ability to bring balance, which is useful primarily for the nervous system and kidneys, which reflect the principle of balance in the body. It also improves the condition of the cardiovascular system, protects the body from the effects of hypothermia.

Truncated 3igocactus (Decembrist)
This plant blooms in cold winter, as if opposing its bright flowers to the short, cloudy days of the end of the year. The explanation for the contradiction between a gentle soul and a cold name is hidden in the leaves of the plant. Thanks to them, the Decembrist also transforms the atmosphere in the house. A Decembrist is good for egoists, those who do not notice or understand the problems of others, since he is able to awaken spiritual kindness.

The presence of this flower, capable of melting the ice even in the coldest heart, would be appropriate in every bureaucratic office. Zygocactus is also useful in a psychologist's office and wherever heart-to-heart conversations often take place, since it can help develop in a person the ability to express emotions, a state of mind.

This plant protects against diseases associated with the kidneys, adrenal glands, bladder, and also prevents the deposition of salts.

Scorpio is perhaps the most mysterious sign of the Zodiac, so those who are prone to mysticism seek to reveal their superpowers, study occult sciences, desert cacti will become invaluable helpers.dracaena (dragon tree), oleander.

But one should not forget that these plants require utmost care in handling themselves, since, with their external attractiveness, they often turn out to be very poisonous.

Dracaena (dragon tree)
Dracaena, crying with resinous tears, absorbs the energies of people's thoughts and feelings about the shortcomings, weaknesses of their character, saving them from self-criticism. She softens callous hearts, her presence in the house is beneficial to people prone to dictatorship, who do not know how to empathize with other people's sorrows. The strength of the dragon tree lies in the numerous tough races of scaly leaves, which have acquired the properties of a stem. This plant helps to achieve stability of state of mind and even financial situation. The subtle influence of the dragon tree gives a feeling of greater security, the person loses fear of the new, unknown, the loneliness complex passes. The plant is able to reduce salt deposits, relieve rheumatic pains, and protects the musculoskeletal system.

Desert cacti
These plants are very numerous and varied in shape, including giants and dwarfs. Oval and round, toe and columnar, they bloom with red, pink, white and yellow flowers. But all of them are united by the juiciness of the stem and modified leaves - thorns.

Cacti catch outbursts of emotions from the atmosphere and are useful where fickle people live, whose reactions and behavior are unpredictable.

Cacti collect, absorb and extinguish the energy of raging emotions in their moist body.

Cacti with oval stems are universal. It is not only difficult to live with resentment in your soul, but also harmful. A finger-shaped cactus is absolutely necessary for a touchy person, and a spherical cactus will save from the desire to take revenge on the offender. These plants develop tolerance in man. Moist on the inside and prickly on the outside, the cactus will protect you from sharp pains associated with inflammatory processes throughout the body, but especially in the genitals, as well as from tissue erosion.

Oleander
This poisonous handsome man, oddly enough, is willingly grown as a houseplant (not the whole plant is poisonous, but only the stem). He is able to absorb from the atmosphere of the house the energy of thoughts related to the abuse of tobacco, alcohol or drugs. It is practically indispensable in the home of smokers and alcohol lovers.

It is surprising that poisonous oleander helps in cleansing the body, it seems to attract harmful substances to itself, accelerating the process of removing toxins.

Sagittarius plants will bring good luck to fidgets and dreamers who seek to see new cities, visit distant countries, go on a journey, are interested in the cultural traditions of other peoples on any trip. Bonsai is good to have where the main value of life is material wealth. This plant is for materialists who tend to exaggerate the importance of material wealth. It makes room for spirituality.

The methods of forming the trunk and crown of plants can be very diverse, therefore, the effect of plants is different. Bonsai of a cascade or semi-cascade form is able to clear the atmosphere from the energy of people mired in the bustle of the world.

Symmetrical trees cleanse it of the energy of such materialists who, considering money and material wealth as their main goal, still do not deny other values. For those who fundamentally do not recognize the existence of values other than material ones, plants of an asymmetrical shape are good.

Any bonsai, regardless of their form, are able to soften people's dependence on earthly goods, due to which the very atmosphere will incline them to thoughts of spirituality. This property of the bonsai makes them useful where religious rituals take place, where it is necessary to reduce the degree of concern for worldly problems, it is not for nothing that they are considered trees of sages.

They develop in a person a vision of subtle laws in the phenomena of life, expand their worldview, make a person's heart wiser, and a mind more sensitive.

But even if the subtle influence of bonsai does not teach a person to see the manifestations of spirit in matter, he will nevertheless begin to attach more importance to his feelings and sensations.

Bonsai, by its presence in the house, helps a person to pacify his desires, pacify passions, abandon desires, the fulfillment of which can harm others. Thanks to the great spiritual meaning, the room of the woman in bonsai, these plants help a person find the causes of their diseases in their own character, behavior, thoughts and feelings, change themselves, their attitude to the world, which as a result leads to physical healing and strengthening of immunity.

Many are even afraid to keep her at home, believing that she provokes people to gossip and slander. But it is this plant that cleans space from the energy of evil words and thoughts.

Experts advise those who do not grow any other plants to grow sansevier, as she can endure any, even the most careless attitude towards herself. Perhaps this is due to the fact that many need it: it is hardly possible to find at least one house, whose inhabitants would never have a single hard thought and at least occasionally did not utter harsh, harsh words. Sansevier is able to stabilize the body's metabolism. In addition, its unpretentious nature determined its ability to help the body adapt to new conditions. By increasing the adaptive abilities, it protects its owner from colds, ailments and general weakness when changing atmospheric pressure, humidity and air temperature.

Any aquarium, as well as ampelous, are Pisces plants. They will become excellent helpers for those who seek to comprehend the meaning of life, expand their consciousness, who have devoted themselves to spiritual service. You can also try to plant fragrant geraniums, Kadier saws, cyperus, orchids, dwarf ficus, and a fat woman. They help to get rid of the hustle and bustle, in their environment it is easier to enter a meditative state.

The fat woman is lyciform
This flower with unusual small triangular leaves is one of the representatives of the large family of fat women. He takes care of neutralizing the tension in the atmosphere of the house, created not only by a bad, but also by a good mood, as well as strong feelings. It is probably difficult to find people who never have strong emotions or even a tinge of bad mood.

Tension can be present almost everywhere - in the offices of business people, and near mobile children, it can hardly be found only in the house of very lazy, sedentary or tired people.

Therefore, sometimes it is necessary to relax, in which the fatty lymphatic woman helps. It can be kept in break rooms, hospitals, bedrooms - wherever a calm, cozy atmosphere is needed.

This plant not only purifies the atmosphere, but also changes the emotional state of a person, helping to cope with stress more easily. It also neutralizes physical stress. It also absorbs the negative energies generated by lies and cunning.

Papyrus has one more remarkable property - it helps to awaken interest in knowledge even in those who are not attracted to study at all, and this is very useful in educational institutions. The amazing cleansing effect of papyrus on the lymphatic and endocrine systems and blood plasma. It makes sleep easier by making it shorter and helping the person to relax. It is good to have papyrus in the bedroom for those who need ten or more hours for a good rest, as well as for those who snore or talk in their sleep.

3. On all four sides

It's amazing how easy it is to breathe in a room full of plants. This is not only due to the fact that they absorb carbon dioxide and give oxygen in return. The fact that indoor flowers help to balance the biofield of a person and his home was suggested by the ancient Taoists, who created the wise art of feng shui.

According to the canons of feng shui, the southeastern zone is suitable for all plants that are actively blooming and bearing fruit. You can safely move there the uzambara violet, begonia, Kalanchoe, cyclamen, as well as citrus fruits.

If there is a nursery in the southeastern zone of the apartment, it is there that it is best to place a delicate violet: it perfectly relieves aggression, which so often manifests itself in adolescence.

In the eastern sector, it would be absolutely appropriate to place a philodendron in combination with dracaena, monster and ficus, which will support the health of all households. I must say that monstera secretes substances that contribute to better digestion of food, so it makes sense to place it near the dining table, but by no means in those places where people rest.

The northeastern sector of the apartment is an ideal place for an office or at least a desktop, so it is good to place dieffenbachia here - a faithful ally of people engaged in mental work. It activates both hemispheres of the brain, helps with circulatory disorders in the brain. There should also be a symbol of material well-being - a silvery fat woman, which increases efficiency, and diligence, multiplied by the efforts of plants, will sooner or later be rewarded.

Northern window sills in apartments are usually nyctyiOT. And completely in vain. Cacti feel great here. There are people who grow whole collections of these plants with amazing enthusiasm. But when purchasing cacti, one should not lose sight of the fact that a large number of them can forever drive away not only ill-wishers from your home, but also friends.

In the southern sector of the apartment, a plant with the healthiest energy feels great - geranium with red or pink flowers. She secretes essential oils that improve metabolism, so it is enough to sit next to her just a little to feel refreshed and replenished. If someone starts to get sick in the house, the flower tries to collect all the pathogenic microflora and that is why it grows magnificently. The larger the area of contact of its leaves with air, the better it "works". In the southern zone, azalea also feels good, which feeds the owners with the energy of creativity.

The southwest of the apartment is the territory of the Christmas chilli, small-flowered chrysanthemum and hydrangea. The composition of these plants will improve partnerships both in the family and at work. And pepper, among other things, neutralizes fears and adds confidence to the inhabitants of the apartment.

A pomegranate tree placed on the western windowsill can awaken ardent passion in its owners. The energy of this plant, according to Tibetan physicians, restores disturbed hormonal balance and reproductive function.

Aloe and Crested Chlorophytum reign in the northwest. Chlorophytum absorbs carbon dioxide and releases oxygen faster than other flowers - this was confirmed by astronauts who studied the intensity of air purification by various plants in orbit. In addition, it improves mood, in desperate situations gives new strength and energy for a decisive leap, and aloe concentrates attention, gives indecisive people strength and confidence.

4. Caution! Vampire plants

It should be constantly remembered that indoor plants make a huge contribution to the formation of the energy-informational structure of the dwelling. It is necessary to choose flowers for the house taking into account the fact that each plant has its own energy, sometimes quite difficult for a person. There is a group of plants that are considered hazardous to humans. These are plants that are called energy vampires.

Monstera is believed to literally drain energy from a person, while her own negative energy affects every inhabitant of the house. That is why keeping a monster in living quarters is not only undesirable, but simply dangerous.

In general, many different signs and superstitions, most often negative, are associated with vines. Allegedly, these are plants that take energy from people, cause divorce and celibacy, increase melancholy and loneliness. It is not known what caused such an unfriendly attitude, perhaps the bizarre weaving of stems is unwittingly associated with snakes intertwined in a ball. One way or another, but especially impressionable people, probably, should not start a monster. This is a very beautiful plant, but highly undesirable in a living room.

Thuja and cypress are just as dangerous for the house - the energy of these plants is so heavy that you should not not only keep them in the room, but even plant them next to the house. No wonder in ancient times the idea of these plants was associated with death.

Ornamental peppers are also considered vampires. For those who grow seedlings on the windowsill, it is useful to know that tomatoes are also plants with negative energy.

You need to be careful with almost all strong-scented plants. There are many of them: fragrant lilac, modest lily of the valley, exquisite hyacinth, luxurious lilies, magnolia - these are far from all the wonderful representatives of the plant world that can cause severe headache, nausea and even vomiting. Of course, it is hardly worth talking about these plants as energy vampires. But you should definitely remember that no matter what flowers are brought in the apartment, you should not put them in the bedroom, especially next to the bed, since at night the plants absorb oxygen, but emit carbon dioxide and are freed from the negative energy accumulated during the day.

A small indoor plant in a pot is quite capable of establishing energy exchange in an apartment. But in order for the plants to feed the space with positive energy, and not take it away, they must be correctly selected and placed in the room. So, begonias and ficus are a place in houses where there are many people leaving their energies. These plants first absorb the energy "smog", filter it, and then give only positive energy to the dwelling.

There are also barometer plants: for example, Tradescantia lives only where positive energy splashes, and dies in the zones of the so-called energy rift, feeling negative, it turns yellow and loses its foliage. If such a “indoor barometer” starts to go off scale, you should rearrange the flowerpot, and put some kind of plant in its place - a vampire (in a good way): fern, liana, ivy or orchid.

By the way, these "vampires" absorb not only negative energy, but also the electromagnetic radiation of televisions, microwave ovens and computers.

However, if a flowerpot with fern or ivy is placed near the bed, fatigue will appear, there is a risk of getting sick more often and stop getting enough sleep. The exception is the cactus, it is even useful to put it at the head of the bed, as it absorbs negative energy.

Observations of scientists have shown that fern, monstera, orchid, asparagus, philodendron, brittle bell, chlorophytum, tsipeus and some other plants can have a negative effect, although this is not necessary, since the relationship of each person with a particular plant is very individual.

And yet, one cannot but take into account that cyperus alternate-leaved, due to its large biomass and narrow grass-like leaves, has a powerful biofield about 5 meters in size. A plant with such a huge biofield negatively affects human health, since it tends to absorb its energy.

Chlorophytum crested ranks first among indoor plants in its ability to purify the air and improve the indoor microclimate. However, it should not be located in the immediate vicinity of the working person, especially over his head.

This is due to the fact that bioenergetically it has a negative informational field effect.

Perhaps, the true energy vampires can rather be considered dried indoor plants, withered flowers in vases, dried flowers and especially artificial flowers. Therefore, it is not recommended to keep them in the room under any circumstances.

It is necessary to cut dry leaves and diseased branches from indoor plants in time, which negatively affect the body and cause stagnation of energy. By the way, bouquets, even the most luxurious ones, are also not the best decoration for a home: a plant devoid of roots quickly dies, taking energy from space and people nearby.

5. Plants and humans - a single system

Plants show an amazing ability to adapt to the environment and the person who cares for them. As a result, plants and humans living in the same house come to a common biological rhythm, become a single system. Plants feel, know the person and become like him.

Quite amusing cases are known that demonstrate this relationship. One person was allergic to cold, and the plants in his house curled their leaves in an unnatural way when the cold came. At the same time, both the person and the plant did not care whether it was warm in the apartment. They began to freeze from one view of the cold winter landscape outside the window. Or, for example, when the plant experts, when the air humidity was lowered, recommended spraying the flower with water, and the plant owner did not like rainy weather and a shower, then the plant did not like spraying either. Many people have to deal with the fact that the plants in the house do not grow, wither, and get sick. A traditional plant like Tradescantia has one very interesting property: it is an indicator of the energetic well-being of the home. Where there is bad energy, it begins to turn yellow and lose foliage. It is worth rearranging the Tradescantia to another place - and it will again grow magnificently.

It was also noticed that after the death or relocation of one of the residents of the apartment, usually the oldest, indoor plants came to life, it happened that even those that never bloomed bloomed.

Indoor plants are designed to cleanse, heal the atmosphere in the house. But it can be so poisoned that the plants cannot cope, and their natural filter fails. As a rule, they grow poorly where people with a very difficult character live, pessimists who are tired of life, who cannot live by their energy. Constantly dissatisfied with something, irritated, they generate negative energy that clogs up the space. But when such a person leaves the house, the plants come to life and bloom.

However, diseases of indoor plants, their inability to bloom and grow, are not always associated with the severity of the energy at home, and you should not take all this as a bad sign. Problems with the growth of indoor plants also occur in light, mobile, cheerful people who cannot be called pessimists. If the plants do not want to live in the house of such a person, then he simply does not need them. There is another category of people - those who grow only certain plants (citrus fruits, palms, cacti, etc.). And the reason for this is most likely in the individuality of each person. You can choose any plant you like for keeping in the apartment, as long as it pleases its owner.

There have long been signs associated with indoor plants, according to which some of them have such a strong bioenergy that people cannot resist it. They can only obey.

Ivy (popularly - "muzhegon") survives from the house of men: married couples divorce or conflict, adult sons leave or leave home.

Tradescantia, asparagus, in general, all climbing plants are of concern.

Geranium reconciles, helps with stress, neuroses, insomnia.

Common fat woman (money tree) brings money.

If there are small leaves on it, then a trifle will ring in the pocket, if large - bills will crunch.

Aloe (agave) protects against intruders and accidents.

Ficus, if it is in the kitchen, will protect you from hunger and poverty, and in the bedroom it will provide protection and tranquility.

Hoya, the "wax tree" is a plant of family happiness. It is desirable to put it in the bedroom.

Violet protects the owners from diseases and other misfortunes.

Cactusif they are placed on all windows (preferably on all four cardinal directions), they will protect the house from burglars. There is also a conventional wisdom that directly connects a person's character with what kind of plants he loves. Lovers of cacti are "prickly" people, somewhat aggressive and warlike, who value intelligence and wisdom.

Roses and peonies usually liked by people full of life, passionate and jealous. But the one who is afraid of life and love, refuses these flowers.

Carnations are preferred by those who consider themselves the center of the universe, as well as people with fantasy, who do not adhere to rigid rules in matters of feelings.

Tulips and hyacinths people who are deeply unhappy give preference because of the lack of love, dissatisfaction in it or inseparable feelings.

Gladioli, irises and other long-stemmed flowers like broad and impulsive natures. Such people are distinguished by their love of nature.

Violets and pansies preferred by people capable of great passion, but hiding it.

Lilac they love natures endowed with great vitality, who love to have fun.

Chrysanthemums symbolize vitality and temperament.

Artificial flowers are generally a denial of life. Love for them indicates pettiness, self-centeredness, sadness, apathy and fatigue. Odorless flowers tend to be liked by fragile and emotionally unstable people.

Flowers with a strong, suffocating scent are preferred by passionate or rude people.

The frequent change of preferences, when a person likes different flowers, indicates the ability to adapt and about balance.

These characteristics are the fruits of centuries of observation of plants. However, you should not take them as dogma or a direct guide to action. Signs can be taken seriously or with a sense of humor, but some advice from bioenergy scientist Elena Purgina will certainly come in handy for lovers of indoor plants. When choosing a plant, she recommends that you listen to yourself. A person is able to intuitively determine whether a particular flower suits him or not.

After the first contact with a new plant that has appeared in the house, it is imperative to wash your hands. You should be especially careful if it was purchased on the market, since along with it you can get the add-on and energy (possibly negative) of the previous owner. It is also known that all plants accumulate energy during the day and free themselves from negativity at night.

Therefore, it is better to communicate with them in the morning or afternoon. Before watering a flower, you should walk over the leaves with your hands, as if shaking off negative energy from them. Then, for the same purpose, turn the pot or bowl clockwise several times. Indoor plants need to be rearranged from time to time. This is done in order to determine where the plant feels best, as well as to understand where the so-called geopathogenic zones are located in the room.

It is known that many indoor flowers are able not only to sensitively capture negative energy spreading from the outside, but also to soften its effect, even completely neutralize it.

There are some more rules that need to be followed. It is necessary to cut dry leaves and diseased branches from indoor plants in time, which negatively affect the body and cause stagnation of energy.

If the plants begin to die, despite the impeccable care of them, the owner should be examined by a doctor: perhaps he has a serious illness, and the flower feels disturbances in the vibrations of organs and systems.

For the bedroom, it is better to choose flowers without harsh scents. You need to be careful when buying exotic plants with poisonous sap, especially if there are children and animals in the house.

Flowers that love moisture are undesirable to plant in red flowerpots.

Formaldehyde exuded by old chipboard furniture can provoke headaches, eye inflammation, lung problems, and chronic fatigue. These poisons are processed by philodendron, aloe, chrysanthemum, sheflera, ficus. Gerbera, dracaena, monstera will easily deal with benzenes and trichlorethylenes, which are contained in plastics, paints, detergents and stain removers.

Living healthy plants always bring joy to their owner, causing pleasant sensations, creating an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility in the house.

But a prerequisite for this must be a person's love for green friends and assistants.

One of the 19th century English books on gardening says: “The highest purpose of plants is not only to please our eyes with color, but ourselves with exquisite fruits. Yes, they do it. But they also gently, conscientiously purify the air and earth around us. And every house in which healthy plants live will be cleaner and healthier for us than if there were no plants in it. "

Forest and field plants in the garden: meadowsweet

July, heat, the air is saturated with a thick and sweet honey aroma - this is meadowsweet blooming. For its lush beauty, it is sometimes called the queen of meadows. Damp edges and lawns, overgrown with meadowsweet (this is another name for the meadowsweet), completely change their appearance at the time of its flowering.

It is impossible to walk past the flowering meadowsweet: at first you will be attracted by its smell, which has spread throughout the entire district, and then the fluffy creamy-white inflorescences that rise high above the carved foliage will certainly attract attention (the stems can reach two meters in height!). A blooming meadowsweet reminds me of white astilbe - only its inflorescences are not so strict outlines.

And also, in addition to the catchy appearance and expressive aroma, meadowsweet is known for its healing properties. As a child, my grandmother brewed meadowsweet tea for colds and coughs. In general, in these charming inflorescences, there is a great power that traditional medicine has been using since the deep Middle Ages. They say that in Europe it was even used as a remedy for the plague!

In culture, decorative varieties of meadowsweet and its relatives are widespread, you can choose planting material in our catalog, which combines the offers of large garden online stores. Choose meadowsweet seedlings.

Modern scientific experiments have proven that meadowsweet preparations help in the treatment of certain types of oncological diseases, and their effectiveness is close to that of some chemical preparations! And also in the composition of this plant there are salicylates, similar in their action to the usual aspirin. Only the use of meadowsweet does not give such side effects as this drug.

In the garden, meadowsweet will be a welcome guest, not requiring special care of themselves, but invariably attracting attention. Just find her a damp corner - for example, on the shore of a reservoir.

This plant reproduces vegetatively: it is enough to dig out rhizomes in the meadow and plant them in a prepared place. It is advisable to do this in early spring or autumn, the distance between plants when planting is 30-40 cm.

Well, now is just the time to enjoy the honey aroma and harvest meadowsweet inflorescences as a medicinal raw material.

Features of the

In Russia, dacha culture is actively flourishing. Many spend their weekends and vacations in the countryside. In the backyard, you can grow not only vegetables, but also realize your flower ideas. Each housewife wants to make her small natural island not only functional, but also beautiful. Designers offer numerous ideas that differ in style, decoration materials and color combinations.

A well-designed flower bed can bring aesthetic pleasure to every person.

To make a flower garden correctly, you should study the main features of flower bed design:

  • After planting seeds in the ground, they will need to be constantly looked after. Before creating a flower bed, you should think over its shape and design, come up with a type of composition fencing and color
  • Before work, you need to decide on your desires. So that the flowers do not look chaotic and do not look like a variegated bedspread, think over the project of the flower garden, choose plant varieties
  • Vegetation should be matched to the height and size of the bushes, as well as the degree of growth. If you neglect this rule, you will need a transplant the next year.

  • All flowers should be matched in color. This does not mean that the garden should be monochromatic, it is simply not worth using more than three main tones in one planting. You can dilute flower beds with white, shades of greenery or different variations of the basic tone of vegetation. If you follow this rule, you will make your garden harmonious.
  • Before planting seeds, you should familiarize yourself with the features of plants. Examine their growth rate, future size, appearance, and flowering time. Such information will help you decide on the future composition and create original flower beds on your site.
  • Planting flowers should be free. You don't need to crowd all the plants at one point. This will lead to an incomprehensible design that will ruin the whole composition.
  • Flower beds need to be looked after. Prune plants and add top dressing to the soil.

Having studied the features of flower beds, you will feel more confident and will be able to choose the most suitable option for your summer cottage.

Each flower bed has its own nuances, which lie in the features of irrigation, fasteners and the location of vegetation.

The flower beds on your site should have an attractive appearance throughout the summer cottage, so choose vegetation that is characterized by long flowering. Also, flowers should retain their decorative qualities after flowering. A flower bed can act as an independent figure in landscaping or be combined with more complex flower garden compositions.

Before arranging a flower garden, you should decide on the types of flower beds that exist in the design. Each species has its own characteristics, shape and location on the site.

Regular

This is an ordinary flower bed in which you can grow annual or perennial flowers. Since each flower has its own characteristics, which consist in the irrigation system and feeding, it is very difficult to care for such a flower garden. When choosing this model, you should prepare for constant financial investments. The very procedure for creating a flower garden, as well as the final result of efforts, can bring real joy to gardeners.

A regular flower bed differs from other types in that only strict geometric patterns are allowed in it. Each drawing should have its own unique shade. Vegetation should be planted in a specific pattern so that a clear border is visible between the flowers. For the desired effect, choose flowers with an identical flowering period. You should also take care of proper lighting. The presence of a shadow is not allowed, as it will spoil the appearance of the flower garden.

Most often, such flower beds are located in a city park, alleys and gardens. Arrangement of a flower garden of this type in the country can be carried out only if your site has a sufficient area, because such compositions are considered the largest.

Irregular

This quality allows the flower bed to delight its owners throughout the season. With an irregular flower garden, you can show the natural beauty of flowers along with a variety of color schemes. These flower beds do not have clearly defined geometric shapes.

The flower garden should be laid out in an open area with sufficient sunlight. This is due to the fact that most flowers do not like partial shade. Large varieties of plants should be planted in the central part so that you can admire the composition from all sides.

If your flower bed is only accessible from one side, tall flowers are planted on the far side.

To create such a flower bed, you should choose a variety of plants. Most gardeners choose perennial varieties that include roses, peonies and phlox. Popular annuals can be added to the composition: balsam, asters, snapdragons. This list is optional, you can plant any flowers depending on your preferences and imagination.

Carpet

This type of flower garden is rarely used. Sometimes city services resort to such a composition during the landscaping of the city. Externally, flower beds are similar to a panel, which includes undersized plants with a bright appearance. The composition of the flower bed should be selected in such a way that the flowering time of all varieties approximately coincides. The design contains an intricate interweaving of patterns, due to which an attractive ornament is formed, similar to that of an oriental carpet.

Creating and maintaining the attractive look of such a flower garden is accompanied by significant difficulties, but the result can amaze everyone. Guests or casual passers-by will admire your talent at the sight of this beauty. If you decide to place a carpet flower garden on your site, be ready to take care of it every week.

Withered and unattractive plants should be removed, and overgrown plants should be pruned. Make sure that there is a clear border between the different varieties of flowers. The pattern must not be disturbed. Many summer residents are planting plants directly in pots. This solution leads to rapid drying of the soil and the need for intensive watering.

Raised

Raised flower beds are popular at the moment. They got their name due to the fact that the flower bed is located in special containers, which are raised from the ground level to a height of 20 cm.Due to such a solution, you can plant vegetation in areas where it cannot be done in a simple way. For example, when decorating stairs, on soils with a poor composition, in areas where communications pass. Raised flower beds are considered an expressive component of the decor and will allow you to make the interior of the site original and unusual.

Raised flower beds can have different shapes. The material for creating the walls can also vary. The models used are versatile and suitable for a garden decorated in any style.

It is easy to take care of the flowers that are in these flower beds. When choosing such products, remember that the soil will dry out more often than in traditional flower beds, therefore frequent watering is required.

Vegetation in such structures will develop better and bloom faster, since it does not need to be afraid of frost on the ground, the soil heats up more quickly and is sufficiently ventilated, and the water does not stagnate. Raised flower beds are less likely to be attacked by pests.

In raised flower beds, you can grow plants that will delight with their decorative qualities for a long time. Choose several varieties of plants to add variety to your garden. Many summer residents plant petunias, lobelia, nasturtium and other types of flowers. Ornamental cereals look good on large flower beds.

If your flower garden is at a height of 50 cm, perennial varieties can freeze out. Therefore, plant only annuals in such products. There should be pebble or gravel drainage at the bottom.

Vertical

Vertical flower beds can act not only as a beautiful decor for any landscape design, but also become a functional solution while saving space. They amaze with their unusual appearance and diverse forms. Such flower beds are suitable for growing many varieties of plants, among which are petunia, begonia, verbena and bacopa.

Typically, vertical plantings are used in city landscaping., but in summer cottages, such flower beds also fit well into the interior. With this solution, you will create an unusual screen that will accentuate an unremarkable corner of your garden or hide certain objects from prying eyes. When creating such a flower bed, you should choose a solid frame on which flowerpots with flowers will be attached to the floor. In the end, you will get a solid floral column that looks attractive when paired with ampel varieties.

You can give the frame any shape, due to which you can give the flower bed the appearance of any fairy-tale hero or animal. Such solutions are often used for decorative dilution of the territory and thematic decoration of certain areas.

Annular

Such a flower garden differs from a simple one in that it encircles a certain object on the territory of the estate. The object can be a fruit tree, sculpture, gazebo and other interior components.

Most summer residents decide to equip such structures by placing beautiful vases with flowers or an original statue in the central part. When choosing plants, be guided by the height of the variety: tall representatives should be planted on the inner radius, and lower ones along the outer. Due to this solution, you will receive an unusual pedestal made of flower plants.

You can plant flowers in a variety of ways. If you are planning on creating a specific pattern, choose plants of the same height.

On round flower beds that can be viewed from any side, tall flowers should be placed in the center.

Ostrovnaya

Such a flower garden should be located in the center of the lawn in an open area. This solution allows you to see the flower bed well. You can make the flower garden small or medium in size. It will contain about 3-5 original varieties of flowers.Peonies, garden chamomiles and delphiniums are often planted. If you wish, you can make the flower bed large by placing more plants in it.

The lawns next to the flower garden will create a bright and luscious environment in which the flower garden will be an accent spot.

Panel

This solution acts as an interesting decorative component, which is often used by gardeners when working in urban environments. The flower garden combines elements of a carpet and a regular flower bed. Designers decorate such solutions with different images, ranging from portraits to calendar inscriptions. Instead of paints, experts use undersized plant varieties.

Panels can be created from flowering and non-flowering plantswith bright foliage. Such decorative components are created before the holidays in a certain theme, but you can create a similar flower garden in your country house yourself. The choice of pattern and color scheme will depend on your imagination. When arranging flower beds, select plants that bloom in the same season and for the same amount of time.

Chameleon

In appearance, this type of planting is no different from a standard flower bed. However, the vegetation that is present in this flower garden must be selected taking into account the color change during flowering. You will be able to independently choose color combinations by examining the flowering times of the plants you like.

For example, in the fall season, you can plant a daffodil in a flower garden, which will decorate your garden with white in the spring. In the spring, you can also plant pink petunias to modify the appearance of the flower bed. Use grown seedlings for these purposes. To make the petunia bloom after the daffodil immediately, plant the seeds at the end of March.

Monoclumba

Monoclumba is a flower garden in which there is only one type of plant. Usually summer residents choose snapdragons, salvia and sowing dahlias. This solution looks good in the garden and is used to divide the site into functional areas.

It is best to place flowers near the main entrance to the territory, near the doors or in the recreation area. Bright flowers will grab the attention of your guests, so designate a spot for the flower garden so that it shows through from each side.

Border

The flower border is used as a decorative fence. The width of a standard flower garden is no more than 60 cm. When planting, flowers are used that are combined with each other, as well as shrubs. Longitudinal and transverse symmetry can be used.

Most of the curb furnishing principles came from the popular renowned gardener and designer Gertrude Jekkil. She equipped her personal garden, which amazed those around her with its originality and artistic solutions.

To make your flower garden as rational and decorative as possible, you should use several rules:

  • If the border has its own color scheme, it should act as a contrast to the flower garden, for which the flower bed will be the frame
  • When choosing low-growing perennials, keep in mind that they will grow in height and width. You will need to set aside a larger area for them.
  • Border gaps are unattractive, so arrange the same flowers in two rows
  • The standard border size should be no more than 50 cm wide and up to 40 cm high. Choose undersized floral frames
  • Make sure that the frame does not look in different directions and has a neat and attractive appearance. To comply with this condition, you should buy small plants that have a low growth rate.
  • The decorative qualities of flowers should not depend on weather conditions. In any weather, your flower bed should look attractive. Choose unpretentious plant varieties for the curb, which are characterized by endurance even in a limited area.
